Tampa Supergroup is an ongoing recording project that joins two Tampa Bay area-based artists to write, record, and release a song together. The project is lead by St. Petersburg musician and producer Jordan Esker and Dan Gentry of Tampa recording studio BK Productions Tampa.
For Volume 2, indie harpist His Hem and alt/soul songwriter Emily Turnage share their song “Not Dead Yet,” a song written and recorded entirely within the walls of BK Productions Tampa. They are joined by Elizabeth C Piedrahita (drums) and Daniel Caballero (bass) of Tampa based band House of I.
“Not Dead Yet” was released on all music platforms on October 18, 2019. The song was broadcast on WMNF’s Radio Reverb on October 19, 2019.
